カリフォルニア産のオーガニックのカレンズです。レーズンの1/3くらいのサイズの、酸味が強いぶどう「カレンズ」を天日乾燥しました。しっかりとした甘みがあり、小ぶりのため生地にもよくなじみ、お菓子やフルーツパンによく合います。オイルコーティングを行っていないため、実の表面に結晶した旨みあふれる糖分も含め、洗わずそのままパンやお菓子に使うことができます。漂白剤や添加物は一切使用していません。
Organic currants from California.
These tart, flavorful currants are made by naturally sun-drying small grapes that are about one-third the size of regular raisins. They have a rich, pronounced sweetness and, thanks to their small size, blend beautifully into dough. They are especially well suited for baked goods and fruit breads.
Because they are not coated with oil, they can be used directly in breads and baked goods without washing. The natural sugars that crystallize on the surface of the fruit are also retained, adding an extra burst of rich flavor.
No bleaching agents or additives are used.
